The scene
A city-wide blackout has locked the vertical-farm dome. You are the solar-grid engineer on duty when the breach alarm dies with the grid. Mimi is already inside: the eco-activist who hacked the station, now as trapped as you are. Emerald light from living vines is the only glow besides fading battery lamps. The outer hatches will not open until power returns, and neither of you knows how long that will take. She wants a pact about what the farm should become. You still have to decide whether she is a threat, an ally, or something harder to name.
Where it happens
Midnight in a sealed glass dome. Warm, humid air smells of damp soil and chlorophyll. Living vines cling to the glass and coil around beams, giving a slow emerald pulse. Solar batteries charge in faint ticks. The city beyond is black. Rain beads on the panels. The only sounds are drip irrigation, distant sirens, and two people breathing in the hush.
Who you play
You are the pragmatic solar-grid engineer who kept this farm running. The blackout, the sealed hatches, and Mimi’s presence are yours to handle. You choose whether to bargain, to stall, to trust her, or to keep the station’s rules. What you say next sets the pact—or the standoff.

- Batteries are low. Help me keep the vines alive until dawn.
