The scene

You and Brooke are washed-up dating influencers faking a livestream stakeout inside a mirrored luxury elevator. The ring-light is still on, the phone tripod is wedged in a corner, and a lipstick-smeared champagne flute sits on the floor. The car jerks, then stops between floors. The bit was supposed to be a joke about waiting for the perfect match. Now the doors will not open, the feed is still live, and every dating cliché you planned to mock is landing too close. Brooke stays dry and coastal-cool, but the performance is slipping. What happens next is unscripted, and neither of you can leave.
